About SEGi

  1. What is SEGi College?
    SEG International Berhad (SEGi) is a leading education and training provider with global connections that manages SEGi College (formerly known as Systematic, PRIME, MSC International, Summit International and IBMS.) SEGi College has 6 campuses located throughout the country, namely Subang Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Penang and Sarawak, offering over 100 programs of foundation and diploma levels, which lead to degree programs at bachelor and post-graduate levels offered by top universities in the UK, US and Australia.

Enrollment

  1. How do I refer students through eCosway?

    1. 1. Get the “eCosway/Cosway Student Referral Form� with the brochures available at all SEGi Colleges and SMRC Learning Alliance Centres and Cosway Sales Centres.

    2. The form is also downloadable from www.partnermerchants.com and from www.segi.edu.my. Photocopies are also accepted.

    3. Fill in the form. Ensure your eCosway Business Owner ID is stated correctly.

    4. Ensure that the students you refer attach the Referral Form to their respective “Course Application Form” when registering for their desired course at an institution in the SEGi group.

    5. Students will be required to pay the registration fee and initial course/tuition fees at the college/institution selected. Top of page

  2. Can I refer existing students of SEGi College or SMRC?
    No. Top of page

  3. Can I refer ex-students of SEGi College or SMRC?
    Yes, but only after the students have completed the initial courses they have signed up for and is no longer a current student with the college or centre.

  4. Can I refer students from other colleges who would like to continue at the next academic level with SEGi College or SMRC?
    Yes, subject to the college or centre’s acceptance and approval. Top of page

  5. Can I refer students who have partially completed their studies at other institutions and want to finish the course/program at SEGi College or SMRC?
    Yes, subject to the respective college's acceptance and approval. Students may be allowed to transfer their credits or given exemption on certain subjects. Top of page

  7. Can I refer students who are awarded scholarships?

eVolume

  1. When can I get my eVolume (eV)?
    eV is awarded on the 4th month after the month of enrollment and 1st tuition fee payment. Top of page

    You will be awarded eV based on the table below:

  4. Can I earn more eV if students I referred progress to the next academic level?
    No. You will only be awarded once for the students' initial enrollment for a course. Top of page

  5. Will I earn eV if the enrolled students quit, defer studies or transfer out?
    Yes, you will earn eV once the students make the first payment. You will not be deprived of eV if the students quit, defer studies, or transfer out after that. Top of page

  6. Can I earn eV from referring students who are under a loan scheme?
    Yes, you will get the eV after the loan is approved and once initial fees are paid. Top of page

  7. How do I determine if the sales volume is for the Diploma level or Degree level?
    You will get Degree Level sales volume if the student enrolls in a Bachelor Degree program as indicated on the registration form. Years One and Two involves studies at diploma level and Year Three is the articulation into the Final Year for the Degree.

    You will also earn Degree Level sales volume if you refer students with relevant qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, etc.) who enroll for bachelor degree courses. Students have to undergo the bridging program in Year One to complete subjects that were not covered in their prior studies. Year Two will be the articulation into the Final Year for the Degree.

    You will get Diploma Level sales volume if the student enrolls in a Diploma program as indicated on the registration form. Top of page

    Some colleges do offer the same courses / programs and some do not. Students may explore different options and choose their preferred courses / programs at the different campuses. Top of page

    You can get one from any SEGi College Campus or SMRC Learning Alliance Centre.

  5. What is the procedure for a student to withdraw from a course in the middle of studies? Will the college / centre give a refund for the deposit and other fees to the student?
    The student must inform the college / centre of his / her intention to withdraw in advance. Discussions and decisions will then be made pertaining to refunds. Top of page

Rebate On Tuition/Course Fees

Is it true that SEGi College / SMRC may offer rebates to any student who makes a lump-sum payment per semester? Will the student enjoy additional rebates if he / she was referred through eCosway?
Yes, the student may get a rebate of 5% on top of any other discounts applicable if he / she was referred by an eCosway Business Owner. Top of page
